Alouettes Fall 32-25 Against Edmonton - Game Recap

The Eskimos got a 3-TD performance from Trevor Harris as Edmonton handed Montreal a 32-25 defeat on Friday at Commonwealth Stadium.

Edmonton did not, however, defeat the Alouettes against the spread, which closed at -8.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 49.5.

Trevor Harris completed 32 of 41 pass attempts for 447 yards and 3 TDs for the Eskimos in the win.

William Stanback rushed for 76 yards for Montreal, while Antonio Pipkin added 45 yards. Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 134 yards for the Alouettes, while receivers B.J. Cunningham and Geno Lewis had 96 and 41 yards respectively.

Montreal was outgained by Edmonton 608-325 yards in Friday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 35-19 by the Eskimos.

Edmonton led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:08-25:52 split in that important category.

Edmonton looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Lions. The Alouettes will aim to get back on the winning track at Hamilton.
