RedBlacks vs Stampeders Final: 32-28 - Recap

Dominique Davis ran his way to 3 TDs as Ottawa earned a 32-28 win over Calgary in football action on Saturday at McMahon Stadium.

Ottawa won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +8.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 49.5.

Mossis Madu Jr. rushed for 112 yards, while Dominique Davis added 10 yards in the win. R.J. Harris and Brad Sinopoli added 82 and 75 receiving yards respectively.

Don Jackson rushed for 22 yards for Calgary, while Markeith Ambles added 17 yards. Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 275 yards for the Stampeders, while receivers Juwan Brescacin and Markeith Ambles had 68 and 49 yards respectively.

Ottawa outgained Calgary 401-318 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-16 by the RedBlacks.

Calgary lost the time of possession battle 33:04-26:56, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Ottawa heads into a Week 2 battle against the Roughriders. Calgary, meanwhile, will have their next action against British Columbia.
