Trail Blazers Fall 120-100 Against Utah - Game Recap

The battle between the Jazz and Trail Blazers didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Portland was handed a 120-100 defeat on Wednesday at Moda Center at the Rose Quarter.

Bettors who backed the Jazz were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -1.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 225.5.

Utah got 20 points from Donovan Mitchell and another 20 points from Rudy Gobert. Joe Ingles contributed 7 assists, while Rudy Gobert cleaned the glass with 17 rebounds.

The Trail Blazers got a 23-point performance from CJ McCollum, who was supported by 15 points from Carmelo Anthony. Damian Lillard had 7 assists in a losing cause for Portland, while Enes Kanter grabbed 8 rebounds.

The Jazz hit the break winning 65-44 before taking care of business in the second half.

Utah had a 59-40 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Utah takes its act home to face Minnesota looking for another win. For Portland, they head home to face Houston.
