The Jazz got a 35-point performance from Donovan Mitchell as Utah handed Memphis a 117-114 defeat on Friday at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Memphis got 32 points from Ja Morant in a losing cause and another 22 points from Dillon Brooks. Ja Morant contributed 11 assists for the Grizzlies, while Jonas Valanciunas had 18 rebounds.
Utah led at halftime, 66-50.
Utah had a 51-48 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
