Oklahoma City Falls 125-118 to Grizzlies - Recap
Desmond Bane scored 21 points leading the Grizzlies to a 125-118 victory over Oklahoma City at Paycom Center on Sunday.
Memphis did not, however, defeat the Thunder against the spread, which closed at -15.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 229.0.
Jaren Jackson Jr. had 18 points for Memphis and Ja Morant chipped in with 17 points. Ja Morant had 10 assists for the Grizzlies, while Steven Adams was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 16 boards.
The Thunder got a 31-point performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who was supported by 29 points from Darius Bazley. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 7 assists in a losing cause for Oklahoma City, while Darius Bazley grabbed 10 rebounds.
Memphis led at halftime, 61-54.
Memphis had a 57-44 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Memphis takes its act on the road to face Indiana looking for another win. For Oklahoma City, they head home to face Charlotte.
