Sacramento Defeats Memphis 133-100 - Recap
The battle between the Kings and Grizzlies didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Memphis was handed a 133-100 defeat on Monday at Golden 1 Center.
Bettors who backed the Kings were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -4.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 244.5.
Sacramento got 24 points from Trey Lyles and another 20 points from Harrison Barnes. Domantas Sabonis contributed 11 assists, while Domantas Sabonis cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
The Grizzlies got a 21-point performance from Desmond Bane, who was supported by 19 points from Jaren Jackson Jr.. Tyus Jones had 8 assists in a losing cause for Memphis, while Tyus Jones grabbed 6 rebounds.
The Kings hit the break winning 66-61 before taking care of business in the second half.
Sacramento had a 53-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Sacramento takes its act home to face Toronto looking for another win. For Memphis, they head on the road to face Golden State.
