Recap - Southern Utah Defeats Bethesda 110-66
The battle between Southern Utah and Bethesda didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Bethesda was handed a 110-66 defeat on Tuesday at Centrum Arena-UT.
Dre Marin had 20 points for Southern Utah and Dwayne Morgan chipped in with 18 points. Cameron Oluyitan had 7 assists for them, while Harrison Butler was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Bethesda got 16 points from Jonathan Akharoh in a losing cause and another 13 points from Eric LaShawn Hamilton. Kevlin Swint contributed 4 assists for them, while Eric LaShawn Hamilton had 7 rebounds.
Southern Utah was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Southern Utah won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 47-34.
Next game, Southern Utah takes its act on the road to face Nebraska looking for another win. For Bethesda, they head on the road to face Weber State.
