New Hampshire was burned for 25 points by LJ Figueroa on Tuesday as St. John's picked up a 74-61 win at Carnesecca Arena.
St. John's got 12 points from Josh Roberts and another 11 points from Julian Champagnie. Nick Rutherford contributed 5 assists, while Julian Champagnie cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
New Hampshire got 14 points from Mark Carbone in a losing cause and another 12 points from Chris Lester. Chris Lester contributed 4 assists for them, while Chris Lester had 10 rebounds.
St. John's was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
St. John's won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 41-34.
