Nicholls State Falls 75-65 to LSU - Recap
LSU got 18 points from Skylar Mays en route to a 75-65 victory over Nicholls State on Saturday at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Darius Days had 17 points for LSU and Trendon Watford chipped in with 17 points. Javonte Smart had 5 assists for them, while Emmitt Williams was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Nicholls State got a 20-point performance from Dexter McClanahan, who was supported by 15 points from D'Angelo Hunter. Kevin Johnson had 5 assists in a losing cause for Nicholls State, while Elvis Harvey Jr. grabbed 8 rebounds.
LSU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-27.
Next game, LSU takes its act home to face UMBC looking for another win. For Nicholls State, they head on the road to face Rhode Island.
