Nicholls State cruised to victory on Tuesday, running Blue Mountain out of the gym and running up a 102-56 score at David R. Stopher Gym.
Nicholls State got 20 points from Andre Jones and another 18 points from Dexter McClanahan. Kevin Johnson contributed 5 assists, while Elvis Harvey Jr. cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Blue Mountain got a 13-point performance from Nathan Caldwell, who was supported by 9 points from Micah Powers. Jeffery Porter had 2 assists in a losing cause for Blue Mountain, while Tyree Beason grabbed 6 rebounds.
