Pennsylvania got 17 points from Devon Goodman and another 13 points from Ryan Betley. Devon Goodman contributed 6 assists, while AJ Brodeur cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Howard got a 16-point performance from Charles Williams, who was supported by 13 points from Wayne Bristol Jr.. Khalil Robinson had 4 assists in a losing cause for Howard, while Charles Williams grabbed 10 rebounds.
Pennsylvania led at halftime, 39-24.
Howard won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-33.
