Nicholls State grabbed a 69-58 win over Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday, behind a 16-point effort from Kevin Johnson at University Center.
Dexter McClanahan had 14 points for Nicholls State and Warith Alatishe chipped in with 14 points. D'Angelo Hunter had 3 assists for them, while Warith Alatishe was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 16 boards.
Southeastern Louisiana got a 16-point performance from Pape Diop, who was supported by 14 points from Von Julien. Von Julien had 3 assists in a losing cause for Southeastern Louisiana, while Ty Brewer grabbed 6 rebounds.
