Villanova Wildcats vs St. John's Red Storm Wrap - Villanova Wins 79-59

St. John's was run off the court by Villanova on Tuesday as they blasted them 79-59 at Madison Square Garden.

Villanova won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -3.0-point spread as favorites.

Saddiq Bey had 23 points for Villanova and Collin Gillespie chipped in with 17 points. Collin Gillespie had 6 assists for them, while Jeremiah Robinson-Earl was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 14 boards.

St. John's got 24 points from Rasheem Dunn in a losing cause and another 12 points from LJ Figueroa. Rasheem Dunn contributed 4 assists for them, while Rasheem Dunn had 5 rebounds.

Villanova was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Villanova won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-29.

Villanova looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Creighton. St. John's will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Georgetown University.
