Tennessee State Falls 83-62 to Eastern Kentucky - Recap

Eastern Kentucky cruised to victory on Thursday, running Tennessee State out of the gym and running up a 83-62 score at McBrayer Arena.

Eastern Kentucky was the ATS victor, as they covered the -1.5-point spread as a favorite.

Ty Taylor had 22 points for Eastern Kentucky and Tre King chipped in with 17 points. Michael Moreno had 5 assists for them, while Tre King was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

Tennessee State got 18 points from Wesley Harris in a losing cause and another 10 points from Shakem Johnson. Mark Freeman contributed 9 assists for them, while Shakem Johnson had 10 rebounds.

Eastern Kentucky was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Tennessee State had a 32-28 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Eastern Kentucky takes its act home to face Belmont looking for another win. For Tennessee State, they head on the road to face Morehead State.
