Monmouth won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -8.5-point spread.
Monmouth got 9 points from Melik Martin and another 8 points from Samuel Chaput. Deion Hammond contributed 4 assists, while Marcus McClary cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
