Duke Blue Devils vs Wake Forest Demon Deacons Wrap - Duke Wins 84-60
The battle between Duke and Wake Forest didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Wake Forest was handed a 84-60 defeat on Wednesday at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Duke was a favorite by -7.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Duke got 22 points from Matthew Hurt and another 16 points from DJ Steward. Jordan Goldwire contributed 4 assists, while DJ Steward cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Wake Forest got 14 points from Ody Oguama in a losing cause and another 12 points from Daivien Williamson. Carter Whitt contributed 2 assists for them, while Ian DuBose had 8 rebounds.
Duke led at halftime, 45-27.
Duke won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-27.
Next game, Duke takes its act home to face Virginia looking for another win. For Wake Forest, they head home to face North Carolina State.
