Eastern Kentucky got 18 points from Michael Moreno and another 17 points from Tre King. Wendell Green Jr. contributed 6 assists, while Tre King cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
USC Upstate got 19 points from Tommy Bruner in a losing cause and another 13 points from Everette Hammond. Dalvin White contributed 6 assists for them, while Everette Hammond had 7 rebounds.
Eastern Kentucky was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
