Akron Defeats Kent State 72-61 - Recap

Akron got 26 points from Bryan Trimble Jr. en route to a 72-61 victory over Kent State on Friday at Memorial A & C Center.

Akron won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs.

Akron got 21 points from Loren Cristian Jackson and another 6 points from Camron Reece. Loren Cristian Jackson contributed 8 assists, while Enrique Freeman cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

Akron won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-32.
