Hofstra Falls 83-75 to Houston - Recap

Houston got a 25-point performance from Marcus Sasser as they ran past Hofstra 83-75 on Tuesday at Fertitta Center.

Houston won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -19.0-point spread.

Taze Moore had 12 points for Houston and Kyler Edwards chipped in with 10 points. Marcus Sasser had 3 assists for them, while J'Wan Roberts was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 15 boards.

Hofstra got 26 points from Zach Cooks in a losing cause and another 15 points from Aaron Estrada. Zach Cooks contributed 3 assists for them, while Abayomi Iyiola had 11 rebounds.

Houston was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Houston had a 46-38 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
