Everette Hammond had 8 points for UMass-Lowell and Ayinde Hikim chipped in with 8 points. Ayinde Hikim had 3 assists for them, while John Hall was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 5 boards.
Dayton got a 13-point performance from DaRon Holmes II, who was supported by 12 points from Elijah Weaver. R.J. Blakney had 3 assists in a losing cause for Dayton, while R.J. Blakney grabbed 9 rebounds.
UMass-Lowell was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
