TCU Downs Nicholls State 63-50 - Match Report
TCU grabbed a 63-50 win over Nicholls State on Thursday, behind a 16-point effort from Mike Miles Jr. at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena.
TCU got 10 points from Micah Peavy and another 9 points from Emanuel Miller. Maxwell Evans contributed 4 assists, while Xavier Cork cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Nicholls State got 12 points from Ty Gordon in a losing cause and another 11 points from Latrell Jones. Ty Gordon contributed 4 assists for them, while Emmanuel Little had 8 rebounds.
TCU was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
TCU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-32.
TCU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Santa Clara. Nicholls State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Cal Poly.
