Delaware State Falls 96-60 Against Liberty - Game Recap
The battle between Liberty and Delaware State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Delaware State was handed a 96-60 defeat on Monday at Liberty Arena.
Liberty got 18 points from Keegan McDowell and another 18 points from Brody Peebles. DJ Moore contributed 6 assists, while Blake Preston cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Delaware State got a 18-point performance from Dominik Fragala, who was supported by 14 points from Avery Richardson. Myles Carter had 3 assists in a losing cause for Delaware State, while D'Marco Baucum grabbed 11 rebounds.
Liberty was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Liberty had a 39-24 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Liberty looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Stephen F. Austin. Delaware State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. St. Francis-Brooklyn.
