Southern Utah blew out St. Katherine on Saturday, running up the score in a 100-61 win at America First Event Center.
Southern Utah got 19 points from John Knight III and another 16 points from Dee Barnes. John Knight III contributed 5 assists, while Maizen Fausett cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
St. Katherine got a 20-point performance from Kody Clouet, who was supported by 11 points from Tavon Tarpley. Bryan Romero had 2 assists in a losing cause for St. Katherine, while Tavon Tarpley grabbed 7 rebounds.
Southern Utah was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Southern Utah won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-23.
