Davidson Wildcats vs Fordham Rams Recap - Davidson Wins 69-66
Davidson earned a 69-66 victory over Fordham on Saturday, getting 21 points from Luka Brajkovic at Rose Hill Gym.
Davidson did not, however, defeat Fordham against the spread, which closed at -11.5 at most sportsbooks.
Sam Mennenga had 16 points for Davidson and Foster Loyer chipped in with 15 points. Luka Brajkovic had 3 assists for them, while Sam Mennenga was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Fordham got 36 points from Darius Quisenberry in a losing cause and another 9 points from Antrell Charlton. Darius Quisenberry contributed 4 assists for them, while Kyle Rose had 5 rebounds.
Davidson was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Davidson won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-26.
Next game, Davidson takes its act home to face VCU looking for another win. For Fordham, they head on the road to face Dayton.
