Fresno State Defeats San Jose State 73-43 - Recap

The battle between Fresno State and San Jose State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as San Jose State was handed a 73-43 defeat on Tuesday at Provident Credit Union Event Center.

Fresno State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -11.5-point spread as favorites.

Fresno State got 18 points from Orlando Robinson and another 11 points from Jordan Campbell. Orlando Robinson contributed 5 assists, while Leo Colimerio cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.

San Jose State got a 11-point performance from Omari Moore, who was supported by 10 points from Trey Anderson. Omari Moore had 4 assists in a losing cause for San Jose State, while Omari Moore grabbed 7 rebounds.

Fresno State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Fresno State had a 31-19 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Fresno State takes its act home to face Nevada looking for another win. For San Jose State, they head on the road to face Utah State.
