Drexel vs College of Charleston Final: 80-79 - Recap
Xavier Bell scored 18 points leading Drexel to a 80-79 victory over College of Charleston at John A Daskalakis Center on Saturday.
Drexel did not, however, defeat College of Charleston against the spread, which closed at -3.0 at most sportsbooks.
Drexel got 18 points from Camren Wynter and another 14 points from Coletrane Washington. Camren Wynter contributed 5 assists, while Amari Williams cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
College of Charleston got 23 points from Dimitrius Underwood in a losing cause and another 16 points from John Meeks. Dimitrius Underwood contributed 6 assists for them, while Raekwon Horton had 10 rebounds.
Drexel was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
College of Charleston had a 35-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
