Central Michigan Falls 73-71 to Kent State - Recap

Kent State got a 21-point performance from Andrew Garcia, who added 10 rebounds as Kent State ran past Central Michigan 73-71 on Saturday at McGuirk Arena.

Kent State won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -9.5-point spread.

Kent State got 20 points from Sincere Carry and another 10 points from Tervell Beck. Malique Jacobs contributed 3 assists, while Andrew Garcia cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

Central Michigan got a 32-point performance from Cameron Healy, who was supported by 16 points from Harrison Henderson. Kevin Miller had 8 assists in a losing cause for Central Michigan, while Ralph Bissainthe grabbed 9 rebounds.

Kent State was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Kent State had a 40-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
