Alcorn State Falls 85-64 Against Tulane - Game Recap
The battle between Tulane and Alcorn State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Alcorn State was handed a 85-64 defeat on Saturday at Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse.
Tulane got 25 points from Jaylen Forbes and another 16 points from Kevin Cross. Kevin Cross contributed 13 assists, while Kevin Cross cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Alcorn State got 11 points from Keondre Montgomery in a losing cause and another 11 points from Oddyst Walker. Justin Thomas contributed 7 assists for them, while Lenell Henry had 11 rebounds.
Tulane was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Alcorn State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-28.
Next game, Tulane takes its act home to face College of Charleston looking for another win. For Alcorn State, they head on the road to face Houston.
