Central Florida Falls 88-60 to Memphis - Recap
The battle between Memphis and Central Florida didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Central Florida was handed a 88-60 defeat on Saturday at FedExForum.
Memphis was a favorite by -7.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Memphis got 16 points from Josh Minott and another 15 points from Tyler Harris. Tyler Harris contributed 5 assists, while Jalen Duren cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Central Florida got 11 points from Cheikh Mbacke Diong in a losing cause and another 11 points from Darin Green Jr.. Darius Johnson contributed 5 assists for them, while Cheikh Mbacke Diong had 8 rebounds.
Memphis was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Memphis had a 37-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Memphis heads into a battle against Tulane. Central Florida, meanwhile, will have their next action against Wichita State.
