Recap - Davidson Defeats Duquesne 72-61

Davidson got 24 points from Foster Loyer as they ran past Duquesne 72-61 on Monday at Belk Arena.

Davidson won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -14.0-point spread.

Davidson got 20 points from Hyunjung Lee and another 10 points from Michael Jones. Foster Loyer contributed 4 assists, while Luka Brajkovic cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

Duquesne got a 20-point performance from Amir Spears, who was supported by 14 points from Jackie Johnson III. Tre Williams had 3 assists in a losing cause for Duquesne, while Kevin Easley Jr. grabbed 7 rebounds.

Davidson was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Duquesne had a 32-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Davidson takes its act home to face Saint Louis looking for another win. For Duquesne, they head home to face George Washington.
