TCU Defeats Mississippi Valley State 88-43 - Recap
The battle between TCU and Mississippi Valley State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Mississippi Valley State was handed a 88-43 defeat on Sunday at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena.
TCU got 15 points from Mike Miles Jr. and another 12 points from JaKobe Coles. Emanuel Miller contributed 5 assists, while JaKobe Coles cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Mississippi Valley State got 16 points from Rayquan Brown in a losing cause and another 8 points from Terry Collins. Kadar Waller contributed 3 assists for them, while Rayquan Brown had 7 rebounds.
TCU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
TCU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 41-22.
TCU heads into a battle against Utah. Mississippi Valley State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Tulane.
