Wake Forest vs South Carolina State Final: 105-74 - Recap
The battle between Wake Forest and South Carolina State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as South Carolina State was handed a 105-74 defeat on Wednesday at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Wake Forest got 19 points from Cameron Hildreth and another 16 points from Damari Monsanto. Tyree Appleby contributed 9 assists, while Bobi Klintman cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
South Carolina State got 14 points from Lesown Hallums in a losing cause and another 13 points from Jordan Simpson. Lesown Hallums contributed 3 assists for them, while Raquan Brown had 4 rebounds.
Wake Forest was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Wake Forest had a 38-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Wake Forest looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Hampton. South Carolina State will aim to get back on the winning track at Western Kentucky.
