LIU Falls 95-68 to St. John's - Recap
LIU was run off the court by St. John's on Tuesday as they blasted them 95-68 at Carnesecca Arena.
St. John's got 18 points from Andre Curbelo and another 16 points from Joel Soriano. Posh Alexander contributed 8 assists, while Joel Soriano cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
LIU got a 17-point performance from Jacob Johnson, who was supported by 13 points from R.J. Greene. R.J. Greene had 5 assists in a losing cause for LIU, while Quion Burns grabbed 8 rebounds.
St. John's was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
St. John's won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-22.
Next game, St. John's takes its act on the road to face Iowa State looking for another win. For LIU, they head home to face Towson.
