Northern Kentucky Defeats IUPUI 55-42 - Recap
Northern Kentucky got 15 points from Marques Warrick en route to a 55-42 victory over IUPUI on Saturday at Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
Northern Kentucky did not, however, defeat IUPUI against the spread, which closed at -15.5 at most sportsbooks.
Sam Vinson had 12 points for Northern Kentucky and Xavier Rhodes chipped in with 9 points. Marques Warrick had 5 assists for them, while Chris Brandon was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
IUPUI got 13 points from Vincent Brady II in a losing cause and another 8 points from Marlon Taylor. Marlon Taylor contributed 2 assists for them, while Chris Osten had 11 rebounds.
Northern Kentucky led at halftime, 29-22.
IUPUI had a 38-27 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Northern Kentucky takes its act home to face Oakland looking for another win. For IUPUI, they head home to face Wright State.
