Battle 4 Atlantis - Kansas Downs NC State 80-74 - Match Report
NC State was burned for 25 points by Gradey Dick on Wednesday as Kansas picked up a 80-74 win at Imperial Arena at Atlantis Resort.
Kansas won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -8.5-point spread.
Kansas got 19 points from Jalen Wilson and another 14 points from Dajuan Harris Jr.. Dajuan Harris Jr. contributed 6 assists, while Jalen Wilson cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
NC State got 21 points from Casey Morsell in a losing cause and another 19 points from Terquavion Smith. Terquavion Smith contributed 3 assists for them, while Dusan Mahorcic had 9 rebounds.
Kansas was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
NC State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-35.
Kansas looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Texas Southern. NC State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. William & Mary.
