Utah Defeats Stanford 71-66 - Recap
Lazar Stefanovic scored 20 points leading Utah to a 71-66 victory over Stanford at Maples Pavilion on Saturday.
Utah won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs.
Utah got 18 points from Branden Carlson and another 10 points from Gabe Madsen. Gabe Madsen contributed 4 assists, while Rollie Worster cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Stanford got 16 points from Spencer Jones in a losing cause and another 11 points from Isa Silva. Harrison Ingram contributed 5 assists for them, while Harrison Ingram had 7 rebounds.
Utah was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Utah won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-24.
Next game, Utah takes its act home to face Oregon State looking for another win. For Stanford, they head on the road to face California.
