Arizona State got 18 points from Devan Cambridge as they ran past Washington 73-65 on Sunday at Desert Financial Arena.
Arizona State did not, however, defeat Washington against the spread, which closed at -9.0 at most sportsbooks.
Jamiya Neal had 14 points for Arizona State and DJ Horne chipped in with 12 points. Desmond Cambridge Jr. had 7 assists for them, while Warren Washington was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Washington got 15 points from Keion Brooks Jr. in a losing cause and another 15 points from Noah Williams. Keyon Menifield contributed 8 assists for them, while Keion Brooks Jr. had 11 rebounds.
Arizona State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
