Recap - Liberty Defeats Regent 104-38
The battle between Liberty and Regent didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Regent was handed a 104-38 defeat on Monday at Liberty Arena.
Brody Peebles had 17 points for Liberty and Darius McGhee chipped in with 17 points. Colin Porter had 8 assists for them, while Joseph Venzant was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.
Regent got 16 points from Andrew Walston in a losing cause and another 7 points from Markell Riggins. Markell Riggins contributed 2 assists for them, while Andrew Walston had 4 rebounds.
Liberty was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Liberty had a 39-23 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Liberty takes its act on the road to face Alabama looking for another win. For Regent, they head on the road to face Hampton.
