Evansville got 18 points from Marvin Coleman II as they ran past Campbell 72-66 on Wednesday at Ford Center.
Evansville got 18 points from Yacine Toumi and another 15 points from Antoine Smith Jr.. Kenny Strawbridge Jr. contributed 7 assists, while Yacine Toumi cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Campbell got 15 points from Ricky Clemons in a losing cause and another 13 points from Anthony Dell'Orso. Joshua Lusane contributed 4 assists for them, while Jay Pal had 11 rebounds.
Evansville was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Campbell won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 28-27.
