Samford cruised to victory on Thursday, running Alabama A&M out of the gym and running up a 84-64 score at Elmore Gymnasium.
Samford got 18 points from Achor Achor and another 16 points from Ques Glover. Cooper Kaifes contributed 2 assists, while Achor Achor cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Alabama A&M got a 14-point performance from Garrett Hicks, who was supported by 10 points from Dailin Smith. Eric Lee had 3 assists in a losing cause for Alabama A&M, while Olisa Blaise Akonobi grabbed 7 rebounds.
Samford was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
