Manhattan Jaspers vs Providence Friars Recap - Providence Wins 99-59
The battle between Providence and Manhattan didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Manhattan was handed a 99-59 defeat on Wednesday at Amica Mutual Pavilion.
Providence was a favorite by -20.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Bryce Hopkins had 22 points for Providence and Ed Croswell chipped in with 15 points. Jared Bynum had 8 assists for them, while Bryce Hopkins was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Manhattan got a 17-point performance from Samir Stewart, who was supported by 13 points from Raziel Hayun. Marques Watson had 5 assists in a losing cause for Manhattan, while Logan Padgett grabbed 6 rebounds.
Providence was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Providence had a 46-20 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Providence takes its act home to face Albany looking for another win. For Manhattan, they head home to face Bryant.
