ACC Tournament - Recap - Miami Defeats Wake Forest 74-72
Jordan Miller scored 18 points leading Miami to a 74-72 victory over Wake Forest at Greensboro Coliseum on Thursday.
Miami won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -6.5-point spread.
Miami got 17 points from Isaiah Wong and another 14 points from Norchad Omier. Jordan Miller contributed 5 assists, while Norchad Omier cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Wake Forest got a 24-point performance from Tyree Appleby, who was supported by 17 points from Cameron Hildreth. Cameron Hildreth had 7 assists in a losing cause for Wake Forest, while Bobi Klintman grabbed 11 rebounds.
Miami was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Miami won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-32.
