Fresno State grabbed a 87-68 win over Morgan State on Wednesday, behind a 23-point effort from Donavan Yap Jr. at Save Mart Center.
Fresno State got 17 points from Isaiah Hill and another 10 points from Enoch Boakye. Isaiah Hill contributed 7 assists, while Enoch Boakye cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Morgan State got 17 points from Ahmarie Simpkins in a losing cause and another 16 points from Wynston Tabbs. Wynston Tabbs contributed 2 assists for them, while Ahmarie Simpkins had 5 rebounds.
Fresno State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Fresno State had a 42-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
