Gonzaga cruised to victory on Saturday, running San Diego out of the gym and running up a 105-63 score at Jenny Craig Pavilion.
Gonzaga won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -18.5-point spread as favorites.
Gonzaga got 26 points from Braden Huff and another 15 points from Ben Gregg. Ryan Nembhard contributed 12 assists, while Ben Gregg cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
San Diego got a 17-point performance from Wayne McKinney III, who was supported by 9 points from PJ Hayes. Kevin Patton Jr. had 5 assists in a losing cause for San Diego, while Wayne McKinney III grabbed 5 rebounds.
Gonzaga was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Gonzaga won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 49-25.
