Niagara Defeats Fairfield 65-63 - Recap
Ahmad Henderson II scored 15 points leading Niagara to a 65-63 victory over Fairfield at Leo D. Mahoney Arena on Friday.
Niagara was the ATS victor, as they covered the +6.5-point spread as an underdog.
Niagara got 14 points from Kwane Marble II and another 11 points from Harlan Obioha. Luke Bumbalough contributed 5 assists, while Harlan Obioha cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Fairfield got 14 points from Jalen Leach in a losing cause and another 14 points from Alexis Yetna. Jasper Floyd contributed 3 assists for them, while Alexis Yetna had 9 rebounds.
Niagara was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Niagara had a 32-25 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Niagara takes its act on the road to face Quinnipiac looking for another win. For Fairfield, they head home to face Mount St. Mary's.
