Iona Falls 82-64 Against Quinnipiac - Game Recap
Alexis Reyes scored 13 points leading Quinnipiac to a 82-64 victory over Iona at Hynes Athletics Center on Friday.
Quinnipiac won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.5-point spread as underdogs.
Quinnipiac got 11 points from Matt Balanc and another 11 points from Rihards Vavers. Savion Lewis contributed 12 assists, while Alexis Reyes cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Iona got 17 points from Joel Brown in a losing cause and another 14 points from Idan Tretout. Jeremiah Quigley contributed 4 assists for them, while Jean Aranguren had 8 rebounds.
Quinnipiac led at halftime, 37-31.
Quinnipiac had a 37-26 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Quinnipiac takes its act home to face Siena looking for another win. For Iona, they head on the road to face Marist.
