Georgetown University Falls 90-85 Against St. John's - Game Recap

St. John's grabbed a 90-85 win over Georgetown University on Wednesday, behind a 22-point effort from Jordan Dingle at Capital One Arena.

St. John's did not, however, defeat Georgetown University against the spread, which closed at -9.5 at most sportsbooks.

RJ Luis had 19 points for St. John's and Daniss Jenkins chipped in with 15 points. Daniss Jenkins had 5 assists for them, while Joel Soriano was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

Georgetown University got 31 points from Jayden Epps in a losing cause and another 15 points from Rowan Brumbaugh. Jayden Epps contributed 7 assists for them, while Supreme Cook had 8 rebounds.

St. John's was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

The rebound battle favored St. John's as they grabbed 31 boards, while Georgetown University only had 28

St. John's looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Creighton. Georgetown University will aim to get back on the winning track at DePaul.
