The battle between Connecticut and Seton Hall didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Seton Hall was handed a 91-61 defeat on Sunday at Harry A. Gampel Pavilion.
Connecticut was a favorite by -15.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Connecticut got 21 points from Stephon Castle and another 19 points from Donovan Clingan. Tristen Newton contributed 10 assists, while Donovan Clingan cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Seton Hall got 20 points from Dre Davis in a losing cause and another 15 points from Kadary Richmond. Kadary Richmond contributed 2 assists for them, while Jaden Bediako had 5 rebounds.
Connecticut was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Connecticut won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-21.
Next game, Connecticut takes its act on the road to face Marquette looking for another win. For Seton Hall, they head home to face Villanova.
