Rutgers Defeats LIU 83-61 - Recap
Rutgers blew out LIU on Saturday, running up the score in a 83-61 win at Jersey Mike's Arena.
Clifford Omoruyi had 25 points for Rutgers and Aundre Hyatt chipped in with 12 points. Noah Fernandes had 4 assists for them, while Aundre Hyatt was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
LIU got a 19-point performance from Tana Kopa, who was supported by 12 points from C.J. Delancy. Eric Acker had 8 assists in a losing cause for LIU, while Eric Acker grabbed 10 rebounds.
Rutgers was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Rutgers had a 41-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
