Wichita State Falls 112-86 Against Memphis - Game Recap

Wichita State was run off the court by Memphis on Sunday as they blasted them 112-86 at Charles Koch Arena.

Memphis was a -4.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

Jaykwon Walton had 23 points for Memphis and Jahvon Quinerly chipped in with 23 points. Jahvon Quinerly had 11 assists for them, while Malcolm Dandridge was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

Wichita State got 20 points from Colby Rogers in a losing cause and another 17 points from Harlond Beverly. Harlond Beverly contributed 6 assists for them, while Quincy Ballard had 5 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Memphis were victorious, as the score was 49-47 at the break.

Memphis won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 28-19.

Next game, Memphis takes its act home to face South Florida looking for another win. For Wichita State, they head on the road to face Florida Atlantic.
